Welcome to my blog.

This is where you will find our daily adventures, realities of life with a toddler, and sneak peeks into our little farm, travels, style, and a few of my favorite things.

It's okay to be tired, momma.

It's okay to be tired, momma.

Do you ever have those days where even though you are completely caught up on sleep, healthy as can be, and yet you still feel like you are in full "zombie mode"...?

Those days where you wake up and say "It's gonna be a good day!" and then life slaps you in the face...

Those days that you feel completely failed as a mother/parent?

Lately life has been throwing a lot of "those days" my way.

Days where I smile, and push through.

Days when asked "How are you doing?" and naturally I respond "I'm great! How are you?"

When in reality I should respond "I am about to lose my coconuts, but what else is new?"

Yes, life can be hard - more days than not sometimes it seems. It is so easy to take for granted the fact that this life is a gift. A gift that can be taken away at any second, of any day. These "bad days" are ALL a part of God's perfect plan for you. God made you perfectly to conquer.  To conquer these specific battles that are all a part of your plan. It's often said, usually with good intentions... "God will never give you more than you can handle", but that's not true. God does give you more than you can handle, but he also gives you the strength to overcome those obstacles.

Never doubt yourself & your abilities, even when you think you can't handle any more. Because you can. God made you perfectly.  Perfectly able to handle all the battles that come your way.

You've got this, momma. It's okay to be tired. Especially when you're fighting to keep your family afloat.

I John 5:4 “For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”
